averaging down is good on a blip... but not on a trend like this.
plenty of examples of shares having a ST fall - but great LT fundamentals... CTX being a recent example - fell from 25 to 14 on poor report from rival VIVA.... only to go back up again and now with takeover offer - sitting at 35... go figure.
Agreee that SDA is junk status - but REBALANCING balance sheet is required... asset sale is not the only option, increasing equity via CR will also resolve the problem.
Intangible assets do need to be written down, I have been calling for them for at least 6 months - but there are accounting rules which need to be complied with as well, which may limit how deep they can cut into them
