If there was certainty that the price of iron ore would not go below $70 and that there was going to be nothing but upside in the next 15 years i would have very little doubt that this project would be going into production soon but that is definately not the case at this point as the share price indicates.
This is a highly speculative stock and in my opinion we are going to need some luck in getting funding as it is still a high risk investment (hopefully there are risk takers out there).
That is not to say that the share price wont run higher, im sure if the price of iron ore continues its upward path the SDL share price will go up with it, but i dont believe any investment decisions will be made based on this short term price fluctuation, we will need to see the price increase sustained amid all the new supply slated for this year before we get funding in my opinion.
