Why have The Cameroon Government not taken the project away from SDL?
As I keep saying, Mbalam will not go ahead or get funding without Nabeba being included.
The easiest way for The Cameroon Government would be to take Mbalam away from SDL and give it to the Chinese at a low cost and get a higher percentage of the mine for Cameroon. The Cameroon Government would get funding for the Port and Rail. Why do The Cameroon Government keep extending timelines for SDL and the project?
So easy for The Cameroon Government to shove SDL out. Ah, Nabeba which is in The Congo Republic.
Another item needed for the Mbalam mine, a power source. Chollet Dam needs to be built and is proposed on the border of Cameroon and The Congo in a pristine site on the Dja River.
