Hi Westcott, those figures are showing exactly like for like.

As ASX listed companies, SDL, Rio, BHP, & FMG all need to report Resources & Reserves (R&R) in the same way and in compliance with the JORC 2012 code.

Your response contains a number of incorrect assertions and shows a lack of understanding of how R&R figures are calculated and published.

For example, SDL figures are showing only indicated & inferred because the 3 x Resource classifications are measured (highest confidence), indicated (middle) and inferred (lowest). Note SDL Resource figures have nil measured, probably because they focused on upgrading their measured Resources to Reserves (which are classified as proven and probable).

I'll do the Reserves comparison when I have time.
