I agree with your comments and I expect SDL to oscilalte in the teens going into drilling and then head higher later in the year.

There are 2 reasons SDL has risen over the past few weeks. Firstly, the media attetion, namely the various articles comparing it to SDL. Secondly, the more important important reason, institutional buying. If you look at any of the indicators (RSI, MACD, Stochastic), SDL is hovering just below overbought levels, and the only reason it has stayed this way is because of institutional buying. Once these instos have taken their positions then buying pressure will ease and more than a few people who have doubled their money will be more than happy to leave it be for the time being.

It is highly unlikely that SDL will be taken over. The more realistic scenario is that following the PFS, SDL will look for JV partner (s) to put them into production. A JV announcement will no doubt have a positive impact on the share price, but this will not happen prior to completion of the PFS scheduled for Dec 2007.

If drill results turn up good, SDL will have much more left in the tank, but anyone looking for a FMG performance within anything short of 3-4 years will be bitterly disappointed.
