Let the Africans drop SDL and all its staff,see where that leaves them. Do the Cameroon and The Congo Republic have the spare cash to build the Infrastructure? Would they know how to get started in building the Infrastructure? Would they have the knowledge to mine the project?
Do the Chinese know how to get the projects built and into production and carry on running it proficiently?
Why do Hanlong need SDL staff to stay on after the take over? Because they have NO idea where to start it off. They have NO idea about what is required in the way of Environmental Regulations to start with. Belinga is a good pointer about the Chinese running an Iron Ore Project.
Sino and Chinese mates trying to run the iron ore project near Port Headland that has gone for an over run on cost from around $2.4 Billion to an expected final cost to get it started of around $10 Billion.
