If you saw the news in the last couple of days (widely reported globally), Beijing's air pollution has now reached DANGEROUS levels to human health (face masks everywhere - skyscrapes can't be seen with naked eye). A lot of that is caused by steel manufacturing (presumably sintering of crap ore high in impurities) in Heibei province (which makes 40% of China's steel).

It would appear many MILLIONS of TONS of rubbish ore from Mexico, India (just a trickle now), Iran (displacing import from India over the last couple of years) and Vietnam will be stopped soon as China just implemented stringent emission controls.
