    I would like to break this down and what it means.

    What does stock pile mean - This is the iron ore stock held at a storage factory to be sold to steel mill.

    Iron ore stockpiles at Chinese ports fall 1 pct to 98.8 mln T

    This is some times mis leading and you should be looking at consumption or turn over per week. From what i heard the stock have turn over.

    Want you want to hear is not a raise in stock pile but the stock pile is empty.
    Reason - Fruit market - If your fruit is in high demand, people are willing to pay more for it and you can charge more. If fruit is sitting there you are forced to sell to turn over your product at a lower cost. EG end day at the fruit market.

    The factories are not buying the steel, because the world market is not buying steel product. Unless there is the one paper clip policy per day.

    Before the iron ore would hit the dock and next day it would be in the steel meal to make metal items like steel beams for the ghost cities in China.
