sdl takeover looks like a done deal, page-14

Hello SDL mobs (including me!)

I do not know how this deal is going to benefit us but it looks like we are being sold for a song.

I do not have the details and just stating my obvious opinion and observation.

Why would you talk to somebody who wants to takeover your company if you are already discussing with a partner. Would the JV partner be pissed off ??

It is like two timing your gf (or bf).

The hanlong bid for me showed the "bluff" and I hope our CEO better put a valid statement on their clear strategy.

at $1.4 billion dollars that would have been a good deal for Hanlong as they can probably lock in the supplies and when investment market sentiment turns up they can double their money for sure.

I hope I am wrong and more "gusty" big insto investors comes into the company but now the headline "chinese-takeover" would almost be the same as "chinese-takeaway price."

This is for me a sad turn of event!

I am not happy and felt mislead!!

I sold all my holdings at 48 cents.
