Brine production at SDV will take 3-5 years to produce any lithium if production started today.

With the likes of Tesla starting mass production of the model 3 this year & China already manufacturing vast quantities of EV's, car manufactures need lithium now! Not in 5 years time.

I doubt BMW will sit around & wait 5 years for us to pull our finger out to develop SDV, while every car manufacture on the planet has started producing EV's.

It could have changed, but pretty sure SDV can produce saleable product within 2 years. Metalurgically a very good product for high quality hydroxide, specifically very low magnesium content. In saying that, i will be (pleasantly) surprised if GXY and BMW tie up.
