Spoke to friends from Beerwah (Sunshine Coast hinterland). When they moved there from NZ eighteen months ago, houses were generally in the $400k+ range. Now mostly below $400k. They watch it closely as they are renting, feeling that the high debt to income ratio would eventually tell.
