How can you possibly state that Howard has misguided us on GST.

It's the States' responsibilty ro remove State taxes NOT the Federal Government.

And remember it's the States that have reaped the benefits of the GST not the Federal Government. The Federal Government only collects the revenues on their behalf.

It is shameful that they have not removed the other taxes promised on the introduction of the GST, whilst they are also reaping the benefits of a strong economy, higher State taxes such as Stamp Duty, Land Tax and, of course, the GST etc.
