Most people are much better off since the Howard government came into power eg.
(1) Incomes have risen.
(2) Property prices have risen.
(3) Unemployment has decline dramatically.
(4) Social welfare benefits have escalated, especially for working mothers.
(5) Those people who do NOT want to work have been 'encouraged' to do so.
(6) Marginal tax rates have been reduced.
What more do people want, a free handout?
This has been achieved inspite of increased military spending due to troubles abroad, heightened risk of terroirst activity within Australia, and more significantly, in our region,eg PNG, Solomon Islands, East Timor, Fiji etc.
