@Sailor FNQ; coastal erosion is indeed a natural process. It's one that human activity impacts directly on - including our location of urban areas, deforestation, agriculture, damning rivers and fossil fuel extraction.
For decades now Australian governments chosen to continue down the wrong fork in the road - even the ozone hole over the Greater Antarctic Region has yet again reared its ugly head ... not only are old buggas like me paying the price with skin cancers but so too wildlife, livestock and even animals managed in zoos.
Unless we lift our game and begin to live more sustainably our future will smell of almost anything except roses.
