Sea Ltd (SE) is a $60b company that trades on the Nasdaq and has been my best performer this year (ahead of APT).
Sea Ltd is an eCommerce company which has had an annual growth rate at over 100% ($1.2b in quarterly revenue). It is the leader in SE Asia (ex China) and is pushing Ali Baba's Lazada into the background in many countries (see recent quarterly released 2 days ago).
The CEO recently mentioned that they will be pushing BNPL.
What is interesting is that Tencent, which as we know recently bought into Afterpay, owns about 40% of Sea.
It may be nothing, but maybe there could be some sort of arrangement with Afterpay considering the timing of Tencent's move into Afterpay.
Anyway just a breadcrumb for anybody who wants to looking into this. The market in SE Asia is pretty BIG.
