It's just a wake up call to radical speculative exploration companies and investors who think they've found the next big thing and who are prepared to make a buck by thinking they can destroy the environment and a culture and somehow believe they have the god given right to get away with it".
The local Anindilyakwan people have been looking after their land and water for thousands of years- what right do you have... AND I think the NT Government made themselves quite clear in their article this morning in the paper about seabed mining in the NT.
