Not as brillant as it seems in the grand scheme. Works great for the smaller investors though! If BGs stake increases over that critical 20% mark things could get interesting and ugly. Why would Shell want to fork out for a smaller Arrow energy? Pure's reserves make Arrow a serious target, without them, not so much. Either Shell wants in now, or they sit on the sidelines and watch BG seize control of the market. Still some great other coys out there, but none with Pure's high-value, high-gas, high-permeability, great location permits!
I guess thats why it would be my guess that Shell comes through and trumps the offer, announcing a simultaneously takeover offer for Arrow.
At the moment, when Pure opens for trade again, I know what I will be doing with my share!
