Macquarie didn't sell in the scamble yesterday - they sold at their leisure at $11.00 last week - that's what they were telling their clients to do also. It seems a lot of posters on this website are very green investors. The valuation of KAR is not just dependant on the TCF volumes they might discover. It is dependant on the value of the assett divided by the number of shares on issue.
If KAR make a massive discovery that's great, but they will need to raise huge amounts of capital to build the trains, pipelines and all of the other infrastructure to enable them to get it out of the seabed to market. The prospect of a huge capital raising to enable this will dilute the current valuation dramatically.
Unsinkable will be sinkable and he won't even understand why.
