On Friday I posted a series of questions that I submitted to IOT, along with their responses.
One of those questions came from a post you made after CES re collision avoidance. From memory, you were asking about the video at CES where the Rova bumped into the wall. I hadn't noticed that at the time, but a very valid question.
Here is my query and the answer from IOT:
Collision avoidance - in the video from CES, the Rova appears to collide with the wall when it flies over the other person’s head in the video. Why has this happened if collision avoidance is activated?
We were mainly flying the unit inside the cage without the sensors activated. The flight cage was a rather enclosed environment, and we wanted to demonstrate the stable hover without the influence of nearby obstacles.
