There is no coincidence here IMO. It is by design Australian meat production in the southern zones is going to fall precipitously as the animal welfare campaign is strategically rolled out and funded by those overseas who need us to move to a canola wheat rotation. Feed grain and fodder industries becoming increasingly risky to produce for. The global pasture/feed grain land conversion project is being driven under the guise of animal welfare. Record grain plantings here in WA this year despite the debt mess.
