Went for a drive south yesterday (Goomallling to Corrigin) and have to say I was surprised at how good the crops were ... all the way down. WA's fortunes have turned around in spectacular fashion.
If I had to put a figure on WA's crop I would be pushing it to the 10-12mmt mark.
WA still has a strong basis for some strange reason. To be honest things were so good I began to feel very uncomfortable with the level of price risk I am carrying with unhedged grain and good prices still on offer atm. Me be pickin' up the phone today ...
