There gonna be plenty hay in WA JC but quality will be another thing. Hay needs to start being dropped soon but the winter westerleys are still bringing in rain. Crops are more forward than normal with early sowing and mid season drought so we wait and see ...

Basis dropping like a stone here in WA as the big crop looks certain to be booked and the frosty zones now start looking to sell in earnest to lock away profitability.

Will be lots of low protein grain about if I had to guess. Lets see if the malt quota is filled. Some big barley crops around.

Canola. Lots of area in and good looking crops. GM is sweeping the countryside and will continue to sweep more next year. Not much would have been priced and the price is looking awful really. Basis between GM and conventional really crook too. I'd be storing til Mar-May if I had to store and punt on any grain.

Glyphosate $7-8/L. What other input surprises lie around the corner? Hopefully the retailers use the next dollar rally to lock away tech prices for next year.
