Got to take into account the battery packs will need to be higher density like what they are doing in China now (which is the cheap low range cars that are distorting prices and the big banks are using this excuse to short). My wife drives alot for work in her car. Petrol about 150-200 aud per week (its no big SUV or Lambo) and asked me what range and doesn't want to charge it every night like charging her iphone twice to 3 times a day. Range anxiety is real. Not like you can bring along a USB battery and plug it in to give enough juice to get home. lol
