@raiderup; at the 2013 Election the voters of Indi reacted to the ongoing dreadful performance of our local MP by electing independent candidate Cathy McGowan despite the Liberals' saturation advertising campaign and Young Liberals Flying Squad 'activities' in Indi.
They did so AGAINST the massive national swing to the Coalition at the 2013 Election. At the heart of the decision was resentment at being TOLD what was best for them [ie Liberal Party propaganda] and taken for granted.
If that ReachTel Poll is close to the mark it will reflect anger at the way Scott Morrison absolutely shafted and publicly humiliated Julie Bishop to remove Malcolm Turnbull as PM and the manner in which he TELLS people what they should get rather than listening to their concerns and aspirations.
The result in Indi was very close in 2013 but a walk in the park for McGowan in 2016 - the motive and the road map is already there!
