I can't disagree with any of your points there Explorer.
It's a damn shame how things are panning out for Unilife IMO.
I used to be one of the 'true believers', but blind faith can only sustain a person for so long.
One of the selling points of the Unifill, was its suitability for Vaccines, a Multi Billion Dollar Market, with Sanofi the market leader.
I saw in the media the other day, a 'Nano-Patch' containing a Vaccine which releases its active ingredient over a five to ten minute period when placed on the skin.
The product uses a type of technology whereas it doesn't need refrigeration, and can be sent to Africa etc in boxes, with hundreds of doses per box.
This product is still in the development stage from what I can remember.
The problem with conventional Vaccines, is the need to maintain the 'Cold Chain', which means that the Vaccine needs to be kept at a certain temperature from the factory to the patient, otherwise it's non effective, or 'dead' if you like.
Unilife is treading water IMO, whilst being threatened by emerging technology.
The embarrassing rhetoric of AS doesn't cut it any more, with me anyway.
Time to move on.
