I interpreted that to mean this company is now producing a generic - it is what AS said the other major pharmas would use unifil to protect against.

This company will be using the unifil for the generic so the owner of the original drug (whoever that may be) wouldnt necessarily benefit from use of the unifil now for this particular drug.

May well be wrong but Unilife announcements always leave plenty of grey areas for misinterpretation.
