Yes Merrills anouncement was very dodgy. I read somewhere (not sure where may also be dodgy) that Merrill didn't want to announce so HDR made them. This may be true because if you look at announcements you see HDR made one first followed by ML with all the details. Anyway if this is the kind of enforcement we can expect from the ASX don't hold your breath for a substantial notice, mind you in a takeover scenario I expect the ASX will have to come up to speed of face media scrutiny.
