I dont disagree with anything you have said but remember the state govt still has election winning support. This says more about W.A.voters than something about the poor opposition.
The West Australian is by world standards very poor.We have too many journalists with half baked opinions and not enough fact based reporting and not enough intelligent analysis. The West is beholden to the real estate and property development industry and is totally unwilling to upset them . West Australia is one of the very few places in the world that still allows false or vendor bidding at property auctions. This practice has resulted in some very misleading and very possibly undesirable outcomes.
Anyway I would sure support a second newspaper.
