Sydney - Monday - January 30: (RWE Australian Business News) -
St Barbara Ltd (ASX code: SBM) today reported gold production during the
December quarter totalled 37,000 ounces with revenues of $23.3 million
at an average gold price of $647 oz.
Cash costs of $488 oz were influenced by delays associated with
the underground development and production at Marvel Loch.
Forecast gold production is 40,000 ounces at a cash cost of $520
oz in the March quarter and 50,000 ounces at a cash cost of $475 oz in
the June quarter for a full-year total of 175,000 ounces at a cash cost
of $450 oz.
Shares in St Barbara closed down 1.5c to 49.5c today.
