The culture starts at the top, and the first two to be omitted IMO are:
1. James Sutherland, CEO since 2001, is well and truly due to be moved on.
2. Rod Marsh Chairman of Selectors has a poor track record of coaching/managing/administrating
I would love to see Steve Waugh become Chairman of Selectors, someone who we know will demand something that is glaringly absent from Australian cricket, determination and fight.
As far as on-field personnel is concerned, there is plenty of young batsmen waiting and performing - Kurtis Patterson, Peter Handscomb and Jake Lehmann. All are 25 yo and under, all are averaging above 40 at State level in the last 12 months, and importantly they have all made multiple centuries. Just take a chance, give them a go to perform at the highest level.
