Further to this morning's member notice, Freight & Trade Alliance (FTA) has received the following update from WiseTech Global at 1pm AEDT in terms of the technical issues faced by CargoWise users:
"We are urgently bringing up substantial additional server hardware to counter the loss of performance from a cumulative update applied over the weekend, as the fix proposed by MS has not worked as thought. We have implemented a short term work around that seems to have lifted performance but there is a lot to do to transition customers to the additional hardware required. We are moving about half the customer loads from a number of existing servers to new/additional servers to lower the load on each server whilst a fix is being analysed by MS. We are still pursuing MS for further assistance but it is likely to take some time so the additional hardware is a good medium term solution. The new/additional hardware is in place now and moving customers and databases has commenced to distribute the load and remove the performance issues."
