Hey Crisstoff, at the risk of having crossed conversations on this thread (FA and TA views).....
......that first dive from Oct07 to March 08 was a very unpleasant experience and a bit emotionally traumatizing. Obviously it would be best for your health to avoid that first multimonth dive.....but should you find yourself with a full hand at a march 08 type low, then it is some consolation to know that maybe all is not yet lost.
But of course this is all just a scenario as I am not necessarily endorsing Craig's view. History suggests a multi year sideways market from here with some hair raising dips followed by recovery....ala the 1930s and the 1970s
