wall street has been out of control for years. when they caused the gfc governments said they would do things to stop another gfc occuring. they decided to do nothing. its not a surprise that the same scenario that occured before the gfc is again happening before our eyes a few years later. there seems to be a flaw in the current capitalist system. something to do with too much money in the hands of extreme short term traders. you get massive bubbles occuring in all asset classes. the america economy is nowhere near what it was like before the gfc. yet the american stock market is on the same levels as before the gfc. no excuses of things are looking bright for america. they have to face their debt in the near future so obviously they wont be booming ahead in the coming years but rather facing massive cutbacks.
