What you posted is completely untrue and I think you know that.
The truth is that the top 2% of taxpayers pay 25% of the income tax.
Problem is that the top 2% of income earners are not among the top 2% of taxpayers.
In fact some, like your very wealthy deceased hero Kerry Packer, paid no income tax at all.
