The bulk of this target will be achieved by wind farms. They take about 18 months to design & construct from when the contracts are signed. The rate of growth of wind power has placed Oz at around number 3 in the world for wind power generation per head.
If GDY were building a solar farm out in the desert it would already be connected to the grid and producing power, and the company would be producing a profit.
