What would the advantage of alternative fracturing be? The Packers Plus system has shown that it is controlled enough to maximise the pay zone area only and extract the most amount out of the shale. I remember also seeing that our pay zone is separated from the aquifer by numerous different formation layers. On the Schlumberger site there is a multiple amount of different extraction methods and it seems that the right one has to be used to maximise the amount of product that finally comes out of the tap.
