Sector Listing

I am trying to sort a few companies into various sectors from the main ASX GICs list (Sector, Industry Group).
1. Are LICs (Listed Investment Companies) included in Financial > Diversified Financials?
2. An example is TEK which on the ASX site which says it is a LICs with no peers

but Market Index says it is a Diversified Financial.

(Note both sources say they use S&P for Market information.)

1. Are LICs included in Sector weighting or are they like ETFs and not included as they principally hold ASX shares anyway?
