From the tidbits I can put together, here's my prediction:

The new Chairman (Choi) was nominated as the chairman of POSCO in a June 23 board meeting (that was a Saturday).

He was then appointed as Chairman during a shareholder meeting on Friday July 27. He would then have held his first Board meeting the next day (Saturday July 28).

That then suggests the Board meeting cycle is for the 4th Saturday of each month.

Therefore, I predict the Board meeting to decide the SDV North purchase should be held on Saturday 25 August. We should hear something from GXY on Monday 27 August.

This is why the shorts continue to play games. They assume they have time up their sleeve to cover before the big news is out.
