perhaps you should read what shanghe are admitting too here, they are clearly saying they are not getting enough of the rare earths now (there goes your silly 94 % recovery claim) and they will have to look at magnetic separation to get what shanghe need the heavy rare earths .this is the second statement from shanghe on this, the other was their announcement they wanted to go seeking eudialyte.
This research has already been completed on magnetic seperation, its in the reports you want to burn. The problems of trying to magnetically separate the eudialyte type ore are huge. At kvanefjeld the problem of the fluorine means it would have to be a dry magnetic separation but then the fluorine dust would stop that. The second problem ,assuming you get over the fluorine problems, is that the eudialyte at kvanefjeld is too fine grained to separate magnetically anyway. That is why all parties after doing extensive experimentation on magnetic separation have abandoned magnetic seperation for the much more costly and much less efficient floatation procedure . Again nro its in the literature you don't want to research or even read.
