Yellowcake - I thought that nitrogen needed to be added to phosphoric acid (via ammonia) to produce DAP & MAP, and as ARU are generating p. acid as a by product they wouldn't require rock phosphate.

This isn't to say that this will dis-benefit MAK, as if IPL collocate some kind of plant near ARU to benefit from the p. acid production they may well take on RP increase production. There is a gas pipe very close to ARU (5 k's) so it's not hard to speculate that there might be potential for a new fertiliser plant to supply the southern grain belts at some time in the future (or the port in Darwin...).

All speculation of course, but I think the potential for all these players is high, especially with more integrated solutions.
