Like all online media, the formula is:

1. Pick a demographic (ie U bulls) and tell em what they want to hear
2. [insert sales tactic] (usually sell ads or get user to take an action that will allow a sale later)
3. Profit!

From the links that get posted to nearly every stock forum, it's clear that most people don't have any idea how online content is created, or why. If you want to start understanding yourself and the online media space a bit more, then next time you search for something, stop and ask if your search terms suggest a bias (ie searching for 'uranium renaissance' or 'shortage' and so on). Even if they don't have a clear bias (you think), now focus on which article you choose to click on out of the first 10 present in the results. Content creators know that a Uranium bull is much more likely to click on 'Uranium prices surging' than she is to click on 'Uranium prices expected to go nowhere until 2020', and they also know who is likely to click both kinds of articles. Yep, suckers - in both cases!
