If we have a drug with a real prospect of FDA approval and good sales they wont have any problem finding investors who get to steal the prize from long term investors at the final hurdle. It happens all the time.
It isnt fair to blame any of this on the management. The market ain't in their hands.
The real risk with this stock must now be that a white knight with cash (big pharma) could make a low ball offer and get many financially distressed holders to part with their shares.
Indeed, I am a little surprised that big pharma havent used the turmoil to acquire a significant stake. This company has a market cap of 55 million and had $43 mill in cash at 30 June and a drug with huge potential according to many.
