I sleep well when I'm not up until 1.30am working - I use stop losses and don't go all in.
Long swings are the way to go - periods of weeks and months, I don't day trade.

Can't help be glued to a screen as I work on the main monitor designing landscapes for my clients and trading the ASX is merely a sideshow to leverage business income and enjoy a bit of interesting banter as a break from the grind. The charts and IRESS tick away on my other screens and it is quite a profitable distraction when the swing is in a favourable direction.

Investing in good Companies is admirable, however the stock market is a jungle and us poor retail holders merely grist for the mill if we are not agile and/or infinitely patient.
