If Lilac failed then LKE would have to explore one of the other varieties of DLE of which there are 3 main types and dozens of companies which offer the process. If DLE was unable to be viable, LKE would have to consider the traditional method of pond evaporation. In a worse case, scenario, LKE might have to put Kachi on hold as it is at the lower end of concentration and move on to one of its other tenements.
I don't expect Lilac to fail, as at every previous level of extracting lithium from brine it has succeeded.
