Good Dr, you're describing an efficient market. Markets are not efficient. Almost all markets are driven by fear and greed: That's it. Otherwise every insto worth its bonus would come to the same valuation. At that point no one has an edge. And that's not including manipulation, eg. spoofing, banging the close, insider information leaking, and many etcs... Never even mind criminality...
It is what it is.
