yeah seeds are a heaps more attractive industry than generic chemicals, a positive move i think.
they have no chance of matching the r&d of monsanto, i think thats why they've bought sorghum seed cos, its a less widely grown crop, they're probably trying to find a niche. it seems to be their style - get into industries or products that the majors deem to small or second tier.
