I thought similar, trying to claw back some losses, but it is a hell of a risk. Put some of the cash portion of his deal back on the line for the sake of trying to average down seems crazy. If he ever wants to see that money he still has to find a market to sell to? Not to mention the business has to remain viable and not become illiquid and then also manage to grow shareholder value again. But even then any whiff of a Director selling down on market would be a further blow.

He would have been better off putting his cash into E25 or something.
