France is a basket case and going down for the count, they have shown no capacity to learn, and the cultural change is several bridges too far for them. Portugal. Spain, Italy, Greece. Same.
Then watch South Africa, which supplies a bit of gold into the world gold supply side. Word is that the problems are far from fixed. The big SA miners are looking to spin out their Sth African Mining Ops if they can....or quarantine them somehow. Their mining costs will not come down. Their production is decreasing now.
Plenty of gold in the ground at Batie is my bet. A lot more to be found.
