Treating cancer and the endangered Ethiopian wolves

What if there was a more effective way to treat cancer than the methods currently being used today? And what if the key to this treatment actually lay inside our bodies? It's been described as the biggest paradigm shift in cancer treatment to date, and Dr Mervyn Jacobson, CEO of the Melbourne-based biotechnology company Immunaid, has just presented the findings at a conference in Germany.

Along with this work at Immunaid, Dr Jacobson is also co-director of an organisation called IBREAM (Institute for Breeding Rare and Endangered African Mammals). IBREAM is currently working on a particularly important project to save the Ethiopian wolf from extinction: with just 400 still left in the wild, Ethiopian wolves are one of the world's most endangered species.
