I think the punt here was that the efficacy would wow favor. It certainly wowed me and it looks like it wowed the ODAC panel (bar one) but it didn't wow the FDA.
I'm now of the opinion that the responsibility of knowing what the outcome was going to be prior to getting knocked back is on MSB as they were in detailed and regular discussions on these very matters with the FDA for years.
I'm in the minority.
Others believe that ignoring it will make it go away. They 'can't handle the truth!'.
